School Day

Nursery Times

Parents of Nursery PM children who have a sibling in school can pick their Nursery child up at 2:30pm on Fridays - but this must be a permanent arrangement and a request must be given in writing to the School Office.  A full day of nursery starts at 8.45am and finishes at 3.30pm.

School Times 

Start of Day

• The school gates open at 8.25am
• Gates and classroom doors close at 8.40am prompt
• Lessons start at 8.50am prompt
• The playgrounds are out of use for health and safety reasons
• The playground is not supervised 
• The children are the parents' responsibility until they have been dropped into class between 8:30-8:40am.  

Lateness

If your child is late for school (after the register has been taken), you must enter the school via the Reception/Office at the front of the school and register your child as late.

Home time

• Children up to and including Year 3 should be collected by a responsible person
• Year 4 pupils can walk to the end of Woodstock Avenue with written parental permission. All children who walk to the end of Woodstock Avenue to meet parents MUST be reminded to return to school if no-one turns up within a short 10 minute period of time from the school closing so that you can be contacted
• Year 5 and 6 can walk home with parental permission, in writing to the class teacher
• Please be on time when collecting your child. The school monitors late collections and will meet with parents if necessary 
• Please vacate the school premises quickly and safely 

We encourage all families, as far as possible, to walk to school. If you do need to drive, parents/carers should not park on Woodstock Avenue. Please park sensibly and considerately on Marlborough Avenue. Please do not block resident's driveways.
